
If you book directly With Shadzz Motel and Conference Centre and your plans change resulting in having to cancel your booking that you made either over the phone, email or our own online booking site, we will waive the 24 hours notice and the 1 nights accommodation will not be deducted from your credit card. Most motels have a 24-48 hour cancellation policy where if you cancel, 1 nights accommodation will be deducted from your credit card. The exceptions to this policy are for 'no shows'(where no notice at all is given and don't turn up), direct group bookings made through us and for bookings made through third parties who have their own cancellations policies which you will have agreed too. Examples of these third parties are travel agents, other people booking on your behalf like friends or relatives and internet website bookings like Wotif, AA, Jasons, Vianet, etc.
Group bookings are required to give 30 days minimum notice to avoid forfeiture of their deposit.
Conference bookings require a deposit and need to be confirmed 20 days prior to the day or days of the conference use.
If cancelled inside of this period, the conference cost will be charged in full. If the booking has not been confirmed and/or the deposit has not been paid, then the Shadzz Motel and Conference Centre have the right to arrange another booking on the same day/s.
Single unit bookings may require a deposit. Credit card details may be requested to guarantee the booking and will be used if a cancellation fee is charged. Group bookings will require a deposit before they can be confirmed.
If paying by Eftpos or cash, a deposit will be requested. All accommodation must be paid in full on the day of departure (if not already done so earlier). Unpaid accounts will incur late payment fees, collection costs and any associated legal fees.
The guest is responsible for the cost of repairing, replacing or cleaning property as a result of deliberate, reckless or avoidable acts and will be charged at the first reasonable opportunity to restore our room or property to its normal condition.
A charge can be incurred for any resultant loss of income if applicable. If the guest will not pay then the person who booked the room will be responsible for the cost. This also applies to group and conference room bookings.
We have a non-smoking policy in our rooms. There are no exceptions and if costs are incurred or revenue lost as a result of the smoking then this will be charged to the guest responsible. If the guest will not pay then the person who booked the room will be responsible for the cost. This also applies to group and conference room bookings.
Guests may have visitors but we do not allow large, noisy parties in our rooms. Any visitors that are under the influence of drugs, liquor or display undesirable behaviour that effect the proprietor or their guests will be asked to leave.
The proprietor has the final say who enters and stays at the Shadzz Motel and Conference Centre. Guest visitors must leave the premises quietly before 10pm.
Guests may check in from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out is by arrangement only and may incur a further fee separate from the cost of the accommodation.
We do not allow pets in our rooms.
Guests who have a booking or are in residence give consent to the Shadzz Motel and Conference Centre in disclosing their presence or booking and for connecting phone calls.
